Thoughts on author: This is the first time reading anything by this author and I found her concept
for the book very intriguing. I truly enjoyed the chemistry between the characters. I am
definitely a fan of crazy friends/family and this book had that in spades. I was really invested into
the book I finished it in one sitting. Can't wait to read more by this author!!

Summary:
Vanessa is about to graduate from college and has applied for a job at Stone Corp. Vanessa believes it is a long shot to get the job even though she is qualified for the job. She decides to go dress shopping for her graduation, but her mind is somewhere else. Vanessa is so distracted when she goes to the try on the dresses she walks right into the men's changing room. She doesn't realize this until she is almost run over by the sexiest man alive. And of course he is only in his boxer briefs. She is caught up with how perfect he looks that they have the most awkward conversation. To try to save herself from further embarrassment she high tails it out of there.
Vanessa receives a phone call that she has been waiting for. Stone Corp. wants to hire her and she couldn't be more excited about it. Unfortunately, Vanessa receives another phone call which is a stating her mother has been caught stealing. Vanessa thought her mother had stopped stealing this, but apparently she was sadly mistaken. A detective shows up offering her a deal. Either she can help go undercover at Stone Corp. and report back the wrong doings of the company or they will send her mother to jail.
What Vanessa doesn't realize is who her boss is and how much more entangled her life is going to get.
My thought:
I have stated before I never had a crush on my teachers or bosses. Honestly, I never found any of them attractive. As I was explaining this to my husband ( yes we have a corky relationship) he reminded me of a dream I had some years ago.
I had this guy who worked at the same place as I did. We were more on the same level of management, but he worked in a different apartment. He was not good looking what so ever. He was married and just generally a good guy. Which is why my dream (at the time) was embarrassing to say the least. I remember telling my husband (again yes we have a corky relationship) about the dream and he could not stop laughing. I think it was more of him knowing the guy and me. Also, knowing how embarrassed I was.
So, this dream came out of nowhere I promise. The dream started where I worked. I was behind a counter and was having a conversation with the guy. All of a sudden he picks me up under my arms and sits me on the counter. We start making out on the counter. Before I know what is happening I am naked and so is he. Everyone is around working and customers are going about their business. Lucky me no one is paying one bit of attention on what is going on. We start to fool around and making loud noises. I am still on the counter. Then he slowly crawls up on the counter and the next thing I know we are having sex.
I woke up sweating and looking around my bedroom wondering what the hell just happened. I mean was it real, was it a dream. I finally realized of course it was a dream. That morning I went into work and I could not look at him in the face. Seriously, I think it took me at least a month for me to finally make eye contact. I am pretty sure I was blushing the whole time too.
